Kenneth Wong is the Founder and Managing Director of KennethWong LLC. He has 13 years of diverse legal experience and has led his team at his prior firm for the past 10 years.

As a seasoned litigator, Kenneth specializes in dispute resolution and has conducted multiple trials and appeals. He has appeared at all levels of the Singapore Courts. His scope of practice spans civil, criminal and family law.

For non-contentious legal work, Kenneth’s experience includes negotiations, corporate advisory and drafting/reviewing varied legal documents. His legal services were sought by local and foreign individuals, start-ups, Small-Medium-Enterprises (SMEs), MCSTs, listed companies, foreign companies and state-owned companies.

Accordingly, he benefited from working with clients from domains such as construction, real estate, defence, technology, finance, insurance, automotive, food and beverage, hospitality, events management, logistic, pharmaceuticals, media and entertainment as well as retail etc. Additionally, he had the privilege of working with the less fortunate – who have a special place in his heart.

Kenneth has extensively represented local and foreign clients who suffered personal injuries and property damage. These generally occur due to motor, industrial, workplace accidents as well as accidents which occur due to unsafe premises. The injuries range from minor ones to death. His briefs include:
Represented a victim against a casino operator for operating an unsafe premise, resulting the victim encountering a slip and fall incident.
Represented a victim against a MCST for operating an unsafe premise, resulting in the victim falling into a drain hole.
Represented a victim against a tortfeasor driver, who suffered from a sudden epileptic seizure. The latter is therefore not bound to compensate the victim. Yet, we secured a satisfactory ex-gratia compensation from a global insurance company.
Represented a passenger to make her driver (who was drunk) significantly liable for getting into an accident and thereby causing her injuries. This is notwithstanding that the victim drank with her driver, and yet chose to take a lift home.
Represented victims to obtain compensation when the tortfeasor driver was uninsured or untraceable.
Represented genuine victims to obtain compensation against tortfeasors for motor accidents involving slight contact.
Represented genuine victims in claims against construction/industrial/shipping companies for industrial/workplace accidents even though they lacked sufficient proof or witnesses of the incident.
Represented an individual (who contracted stage 4 cancer) against a public healthcare organization for failing to detect early signs of cancer and recommend her for further treatment to manage such symptoms.
Represented an individual against a dental professional for failing to properly advise him to seek out the appropriate treatment, thereby resulting in him subsequently requiring root canal treatment.
Represented an individual against a cardiologist for recommending him to proceed with heart surgery despite being in an unstable condition. The said individual subsequently suffered from a stroke.
