Our Founder

Kenneth Wong is the Founder and Managing Director of KennethWong LLC. He has 13 years of diverse legal experience and has led his team at his prior firm for the past 10 years. 

As a seasoned litigator, Kenneth specializes in dispute resolution and has conducted multiple trials and appeals. He has appeared at all levels of the Singapore Courts. His scope of practice spans civil, criminal and family law.

For non-contentious legal work, Kenneth’s experience includes negotiations, corporate advisory and drafting/reviewing varied legal documents. His legal services were sought by local and foreign individuals, start-ups, Small-Medium-Enterprises (SMEs), MCSTs, listed companies, foreign companies and state-owned companies. 

Accordingly, he benefited from working with clients from domains such as construction, real estate, defence, technology, finance, insurance, automotive, food and beverage, hospitality, events management, logistic, pharmaceuticals, media and entertainment as well as retail etc. Additionally, he had the privilege of working with the less fortunate – who have a special place in his heart.

Kenneth’s interests lie in travel photography and exploring the great outdoors.

    We provide legal services to both employers and employees for employment-related matters.   • Property Matters
    We represent landlords, tenants, and MCSTs in property-related matters involving commercial and residential properties. We strive to employ a variety of tools to diffuse such tensions (or escalate them as the case may be) at an early stage with a view to negotiating a favorable outcome for clients. Should there be no resolution, we then contest such disputes at the Singapore Courts or Strata Title Board. Landlord/Tenant Matters Disputes between landlords and tenants are commonplace in Singapore.   • Building and Construction Matters
    We provide representation on contentious and non-contentious matters relating to the building and construction domain. Our clients include developers, hotel/homeowners, MCSTs, main contractors, sub-contractors, consultants, as well as building professionals such as engineers, architects, and surveyors. In the course of representation, we work together with building professionals such as architects, engineers, chartered building surveyors, land surveyors, and quantity surveyors to optimize outcomes for our clients. Contentious Work We strive to conduct detailed evidence gathering at the pre-litigation phase. This enables us to better strategize and forecast how your case might pan out in Court. After which, we generally advocate for strong negotiations to enable our clients to reach satisfactory settlements. Should negotiations fail, we represent our clients at all levels of the Singapore Courts to litigate their claims. This often means adjudication based on the Security of Payment Act (SOP), which is designed for parties to resolve disputes swiftly and economically.   • Defamation and Harassment Matters
    Defamation We represent a wide range of individuals, from social media personalities to corporate executives and business owners. We prosecute and defend our clients in regard to defamatory claims. Our expertise covers but is not limited to the following matters: Defamatory statements and media published on the internet (social media platforms, emails, websites and blogs) Circulation of defamatory material (written statements/audio/video media) to third parties via the internet (Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok etc) Defamatory statements and comments made in public and private settings. Publication of written statements and/or articles Letters/circulars/newsletters circulated via electronic or physical means. Advise on pre-publication and post-publication of statements in the litigation context. Investigations on identifying anonymous persons who conducted defamation. While this is not defamation in a strict sense, we represent individuals subject to directions based on the Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation Act (POFMA). Harassment Harassment can occur in various scenarios, such as the workplace or the internet. The Protection from Harassment Act 2014 (POHA) provides victims with protection and remedies. In addition to prosecuting such claims, we defend individuals who face legal action based on POHA.
